Key Personnel Profiles
Dr Tonderai Kwari
MBCHB (UZ), PG Diploma OH (UCT)
Dr Tonderai Kwari is a passionate medical practitioner with
vast experience in clinical medicine having worked as Medical
Officer at a district hospital and part time practice at local
mines in Zvishavane. He currently heads the Medical Service at
a large platinum mine in Zimbabwe. His focus currently is
clinical practice and occupational medicine especially in the
mining/construction industry where the margins are blurred
and his knowledge on both is mutually beneficial.
Dr Blessing Garamumhango
MBCHB (UZ), LFOM (IRELAND), M.Sc. Occupational Medi-
cine (UK), M.Sc. International Management (UK)
Dr B Garamumhango comes with a wealth of experience in the
management of health systems as well as occupational health
and safety management. He has been working in senior posi-
tions at mines in Botswana & Zimbabwe. He has also worked in
private medical practice for the past 17 years in Botswana and
Zimbabwe. Currently he heads the safety, health, environment
& medical services cluster for one of the big platinum mine in
Zimbabwe.
Edward Gigwa
B.Sc. RAD (NUST), OSHEMAC (NSSA); RSO (RPAZ);
PGDMU (HIT)
Passionate diagnostic radiographer and ultrasound practitioner
with 9 years working experience in ultrasound and general
radiography. Edward has special interests in occupational
health with experience in radiation safety in both the public and
private sector. Currently the operations director at Lordsland
Occupational Health Clinic.
Christopher Solopa
HBMLS (AU) MPH (AU)
Christopher Solopa is a Public Health Specialist and has
worked as a Clinical Scientist in the Ministry of Health and
Child Care in Zimbabwe. He has extensive experience in
medical laboratory practice. Current attention is directing
operations and maintaining strict quality management
measures at Lordsland Medical laboratory unit.
